We cannot say enough about how wonderful Jessica is, and how grateful we are that she same into our lives. We were looking for a violin teacher for our 7 year old (beginner) in early March and we happened to meet Jessica locally in Astoria. We got talking, and she later sent me her rates, which are very reasonable, and I signed my daughter up to start lessons with her right away. We only managed 2 or 3 in-person lessons before Covid-19 hit, and we had to move to online zoom lessons. This was a little challenging for a beginner, but Jessica navigated it all with such grace, good humor, professionalism and incredible amounts of patience. Our daughter was so young and so new to the instrument, but under Jessica's guidance she continued to learn and grow and enjoy the instrument, in spite of the obvious challenges of remote zoom lessons. Our daughter has learned so much from Jessica under very challenging circumstances. We greatly appreciate and thank her for all her amazing work! If yo...

My daughter (7th grade) has taken piano lessons with Jessica for almost 2 years and her progress has been significant! When my daughter expressed interest in attending a performing arts high school, Jessica proactively adjusted the focus of her lessons to ensure that she’s prepared to meet audition requirements. Jessica is a professional musician in her own right and she brings a level of focus and commitment to the lessons that I think her students really respond to. I recommend her without hesitation!

Jessica is an amazing piano teacher. Both of my children (now ages 9 and 13) have taken lessons with her for 2 years. She is patient but firm, encouraging but disciplined (in a good way). Initially, she rewarded them with stickers, which they loved. Now they are older, she is helping them to breakdown more complicated classical pieces (and helping them to transcribe some of their own compositions). Additionally, I am very grateful for her organizational and communication skills. Everything is scheduled in calendar invites, payment reminders are clear and prompt, and she is always on time. She also organizes recitals in the neighborhood, which are both fun and an efficent use of time (no mean feat)!
